Our mission…

Our mission is to organise programs for the neediest children in the community of Soshanguve, South Africa, many of them orphaned or affected by poverty. By working closely with the Reabetswe Primary School and community we aim to support these children’s needs. We have been successfully running a community centre where our team, led by Nelly Shika, open the doors each morning to serve breakfast before school. This small but important project has helped our children stay focused and concentrated in school. It has improved their nutrition and overall health and encouraged them to continue with their education. We also organise other programs like football and urban gardening to teach team skills and self sufficiency. Our children develop an increased sense of belonging in their community and most of all a sense of hope for their future.
